Terms & Conditions
Pressure Washing, Lawn Maintenance and Cleaning
These terms and conditions serve as a binding agreement between you as the (“Client”) and Handyman Maintenance and Cleaning and its owners and employees for the execution of services in exchange for payment for residential or commercial maintenance and cleaning services. By verbally agreeing to work with Handyman Maintenance and Cleaning you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.

Cleaning Services, Pressure Washing Services ,Cleaning Services & Mowing Services
Handyman Maintenance and Cleaning agrees to provide maintenance and cleaning services (the “Service”) to the Client at an address specified by the Client (the “Premises”). The Service will be for such maintenance and cleaning duties as written or verbal agreed to by the Client and Handyman Maintenance and Cleaning and as stated in the quotation.

Additions & Variations to Service
Any changes to the Services requested by the Client must be agreed to by Handyman Maintenance and Cleaning prior to the commencement of any work.
If the Client requires any additional services or variations at the time the Service is being performed, the Client must first contact Handyman Maintenance and Cleaning management by telephone unless management is on-site. If such work is authorised by the member of management an additional charge will be invoiced to the Client for such works not originally agreed to or detailed on the quotation.

Water Usage:
The Client agrees to provide Handyman Maintenance and Cleaning the right to use an on-site water supply as needed to complete the stated project without compensation. If an exterior water supply is required, it will be at an additional charge. It is the Clients responsibility to ensure the water supply is on and in working order before we arrive. Additional charges will be applied if water is not available.

Courtesy:
While Handyman Maintenance and Cleaning is on location and performing work, the Client is responsible for keeping all children and pets, as well as other individuals away from the work area.

Removal & Replacement of Contents:
Removal and replacement of cars, furniture, planters and any other items are the responsibility of the homeowner/ business owner and manager. If Handyman Maintenance and Cleaning need to remove items from the work area, we will not be responsible for any damage, breakage or for storage issues. An additional charge may apply for time and labor devoted to the removal of these items.

Weather & Scheduling:
Scheduling in a business when productivity relies upon the weather can be difficult. Inclement weather may affect scheduling. Handyman Maintenance and Cleaning will try our best to keep scheduling conflicts to a minimum, however, circumstances that are beyond our control may affect project start and completion dates. The Client will be notified of any changes.

Risks and Releases of Liability
Handyman Maintenance and Cleaning technicians are all fully trained within the Maintenance, Cleaning and Pressure Cleaning industry. Safe techniques are adhered to however damage may still occur to any delicate surface or hard surface due to poor maintenance, neglect of the property and low-grade building materials that do not comply with the Building Code of Australia (BCA). Any areas of concern must be addressed by the homeowner prior to work being carried out. The homeowner assumes all risks and takes responsibility for any damage that occurs due to improper maintenance.

Handyman Maintenance and Cleaning is not responsible for damage due to improperly installed siding, paint damage, loose shingles/siding, broken/opened windows, improperly sealed windows/doors, wood rot, defective construction, improperly secured wires, loose or improperly installed gutters, leaders and improper caulking. Maintenance, Cleaning and Pressure cleaning which entails the removal of chalky, gritty or failing surface materials may cause the faded aspects of the vinyl or aluminium to stand out. Please note these are only some instances of damage that can occur Handyman Maintenance and Cleaning will take the upmost care to look after you property however we will not be liable for and damage before or after services rendered and as such Handyman Maintenance and Cleaning will not be responsible for such conditions. Handyman Maintenance and Cleaning is not liable for any consequential or incidental damage or for any loss resulting from defects as noted in the agreement. For any concerns, please discuss with management or staff on site prior to any works commencing.

House Wash Acknowledgement
The Client understands that any blemish, flaw or any existing oxidation will be more prominent after the Service has been carried out.
Handyman Maintenance and Cleaning is not responsible for water intrusion. While every effort is made to prevent this from happening, bad seals around windows/doors and cracks in concrete foundations and defective sealing on roofs can make this unavoidable. Handyman Maintenance and Cleaning expects the structures on your property to be in good repair and watertight. This includes, but is not limited to all electrical services including receptacles and light fixtures.

Doors and windows shall also be watertight, adequately sealed and closed prior pressure washing work begins. Handyman Maintenance and Cleaning is not responsible for damages as a result of water infiltration from poor or improper installation, grouting issues, maintenance or repair of electrical-related items or doors/windows.

Stains:
Some stains cannot be removed by pressure cleaning alone. Tree sap, artillery fungus, splatters from stains and paints are examples of materials that cannot be removed by conventional means. The use of bio-degradable chemicals may be required along with hotwash machines. Handyman Maintenance and Cleaning makes every attempt to point these areas out to the Client when quoting the project. Sometimes these stains cannot be removed at all.

Invoicing Terms
Full payment of any balance is due upon 7 days of completion; an invoice will be sent to the person or company at the time of the completion of the Service.
We accept the following payment options:
1. Cash;
2. Bank Transfer (EFT).
Purchase Orders
If purchase order numbers are required for an invoice to be paid, it is the responsibility of the Client to provide this to Handyman Maintenance and Cleaning.
